Our First Trip to the Nature Center!
We were able to get our visit in to the nature center before the rain came!

HOMEWORK
WORD STUDY (Spelling) The new spelling words will come home every Monday. The test will be on Friday. Please click the link below to view at home practice suggestions.
MATH HOMELINKS These will be coming home 3-4 days a week and need to be returned the following morning.
TAKE HOME BOOK Read the book at home with a parent or a sib, initial the reading log and return to school the following morning. Our class goal is to read at least 15 minutes/night most nights.
WEEKEND JOURNALS These will come home on Friday and need to be returned on Monday. Specific instructions are in the journals.
Elementary "CONECT"
The CONECT homework club is available to students who live in the CONECT neighborhoods served by Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners (IOCP) and attend one of the following elementary schools: Birchview, Gleason Lake, Oakwood, Plymouth Creek and Sunset Hill.
The PTSA meets every other month in the school library beginning in September. Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of the designated month beginning at 7pm and typically last about 90 minutes. There is also an Open Gym/Tech night that takes place simultaneously for your kids to enjoy while you attend the meeting. PTSA Meetings
Putting Family First is a grass roots initiative that grew out of community discussions in the Wayzata School District. Putting Family First is committed to creating a community where family life is an honored and celebrated priority. The Wayzata Public Schools Education Foundation was formed in June 2003 by a group of citizens concerned about the serious impact of state and federal budget cuts to education. The group's mission is to maintain educational experiences in Wayzata Public Schools by providing private financial support for innovative programs that might otherwise not receive funding. http://www.wpsef.org/
